Clean cutt Ziado Ship

This ship exists in two versions, one is clean cut with clear lines and panelling. The other is rougher, and looks more of an organic design. I like both and keep trying to incorporate one with the other. While I'm pleased with a lot of the design elements the nasals never look right to me, I spend more time agonising over them than anything else in this picture.

The ship aside I am enjoying experimenting with colour pencil backgrounds, this is my second and have found that when they are half complete with a large white area on one side the picture seems to look astatically better. I want them to look finished but fined my artistic preference moving more towards using black space to draw the eye. Not sure how to fix the imbalanced astatic but will keep trying.
